Beef Flat iron steak, butler’s steak or oyster steak, is becoming increasingly popular in kitchens.

The flat iron steak is takes it’s name because it supposedly looks like an old-fashioned flat iron. Versatile and with great flavour, flat iron is an affordable alternative to fillet. We like to pan-fry ours medium rare in olive oil with a garlic, salt and pepper rub.
